Hello All you beautiful Wawinners, some news, not so good but not soo bad. Unfortunately Brighton is struggling in terms of business. Same old story as every other place, high costs - low revenue. But we are trying to save it but reducing our days open by 1 a week. Tuesday is always super dead. Not even 10 orders 😢 so from this week Brighton will be closed on Tuesdays. Nothing else will change for the time being and we are going to promote some offers through Deliveroo to help bring some value to you guys coz we love you 🥰 but yes just an update, we love you, we know you love us, we are just going through some stuff right now, but here’s to a great festive period ahead of us. 😘😘😘😘😘😘

Like many small independent kitchens, supplier, staff, and delivery platform costs have climbed — but we’ve kept the increase as low as possible while making sure the quality stays exactly the same. 🍜✨

📣 A Quick Update from Team Wawin 💚

We wanted to let our Wawinners know that for the first time in years, our Manchester and Brighton sites have had a small price increase. The rest of the sites will also be updated soon.

This helps us manage rising costs while keeping the same generous portions! Unfortunately paying 34% Commission, 20% VAT & rising staff and stock costs has forced our hand. We won’t have to put prices up again as if this doesn’t help us then we will be looking to close sites down as it’s just not working any more.

💚 To make it easier, we’re pushing out special offers all week — so you can still enjoy your favourites without breaking the bank.

Hey Wawin family — just a quick heads-up from our Sheffield site as soo many are rightfully wondering! ❤️

We’re currently waiting on a new gas meter installation, which is the final step before we can fire up the wok and bring you the full Wawin experience again🌱🥢

⏳ We’re nearly there and we’ll be opening VERY soon — stay tuned for the relaunch date!

First off — we owe you an apology for the recent quiet spell on our socials. We’ve always been proud of our Wawin family, and it’s only fair we keep you in the loop. So here’s the truth:

🌧️ We’ve had a tough summer.
📍 Our York site had to close unexpectedly.
📉 Sales dropped while costs continued rising.
👷‍♀️ We’ve had to pause new openings (Camden & Bristol) — but only for now.

BUT… we’re still here. Still cooking. Still 100% committed to serving you authentic vegan Chinese food that slaps harder than a wok on full heat 🔥

🎯 We’re refocusing.

Dear Nottingham Wawinners, We all need a rest once in a while and to help our chefs visit their family in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 we will be closed from the 16th - 22nd of Feb. We hope this is ok and you still love us. We will be back open on the 23rd and to say thank you for your on going support we will have some great offers when we re-open!!!!
