We've been taking the last few weeks to process our amazing time as kanassa and we want to say thank you to everyone who came to our last ever event . We couldn't have done it in a better place with better people! It was an emotional rollercoaster and a beautiful day which we were lucky enough to get captured in photos by . A massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everyone's support throughout this journey. We love you all so much and we have had the best time. Goodbye! ❤

Just under a week before our last ever event at the amazing which Is now FULLY BOOKED 🥰 We are excited to feed you all one last time. Here's what's on the menu:

🌶 THE BIG BRUNCH

Chipotle black beans, fried egg, sticky plantain,chilli sauce,cheese-filled arepas, courgette guacamole,
pineapple slaw, mango & mint salsa,
coriander & chillies.

🌶 BLACK BEAN AREPAS

Chipotle black beans on a bed of rice topped with mango & mint salsa, courgette guacamole, mini cheese-filled arepas, coriander & chillies.

🌶 PULLED JACKFRUIT EMPANADA

Colombian style “pasty” with a spicy pulled jackfruit filling. Served with chimichurri, shredded lettuce & pink onions.

🌶 TOFU & CORN BOWL

Smoked tofu, paprika - infused corn & courgette salad dressed in parsley chimichurri. Topped with mini Arepas filled with cheese, chipotle sauce, crumbly lancashire cheese, fresh mint & cayenne cashews.

🌶 PAPAS PICANTE

Fried potatoes, homemade chilli sauce, fresh chillies & chimichurri.

THE LAST KANASSA X MANJITS 10TH BIRTHDAY. Sunday 10th of October 12.30 - 8pm! We're teaming up with our old Leeds Market neighbours and super talented at their wonderful restaurant space on Kirkstall Road for our grand finale. This one’s hard to write! Food has been the biggest part of our lives for the last 4 years, and with just 2 more events in the diary, this marks the end of our Kanassa journey...

We started Kanassa in our living room in Liverpool, feeding our mates before landing our first ever event with back in 2018. It’s been a rollercoaster of festivals, weddings, hen dos, delivery services without forgetting our temporary home at Kirkgate Market – once-in-a-lifetime and we wouldn’t change it for the world! We couldn’t have done it without our amazing regulars, suppliers like and all the other inspiring people we’ve met along the way. Thank you so much!

So what’s next?! With a heavy heart we’ll both be moving on to new ventures… Beth will be now cheffing at and working on her illustration. Anna’s planning a move to Amsterdam in November once she finishes her Masters! ✈👩‍🎓

Thank you for all your kindness, support and encouragement. Together, we made an idea come to life and for that we will always be proud. You’ll always have a special place in our hearts 🥰

Thank you soooooo much to everyone who came down to on Wednesday! The turn out was far more than we ever were expecting!! We are super grateful that you came n ate with us, we had a blast! BIG LOVE. We will be popping up somewhere else very soon....watch this space ❤

TONIGHT PEOPLE WE ARE BACK!⚠️🎉🍻 At the amazing from 5.30pm - 9pm you'll be able to get your hands on our Black Bean Arepas, Smoked Aubergine Empanada, Smoked Corn & Tofu Bowl & more!
We'll be doing table service n ask that you please mask up when moving around the building to keep it as safe as poss for everyone 😷 We will have a few takeaways available but please bob us a message before hand so we can sort yas out!
