An excellent opportunity has arisen - we’re looking for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team!
Cook House Bar & Kitchen is an independent, standalone restaurant based at The Manor in Drighlington. We offer a relaxed, informal, and friendly environment for The Manor’s golfers, their guests, and the public, to eat, drink and socialise in, 7 days a week.
What we offer:
• A 40-hour working week with any, and all, over time paid at your normal hourly rate.
• Your week will be flexible to suit the needs of the business, but also to suit your work-life balance. Morning and evening shifts are available on a rotating basis.
• Annual salary will start at £30,000, depending on experience.
• Free onsite parking.
• Discounts on food & drink.
• Free meals while on shift.
• 100% of tips shared equally based on hours worked.
• Uniform provided.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar culinary role, preferably as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate other kitchen staff.
• Proficient in food production techniques and food preparation methods.
• Culinary qualification is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends.
