Growing steadily into a veritable sweet shop of beers and spirits, served with care by knowledgeable and friendly staff in unpretentious surroundings, North Bar has remained a glowing hub of familiarity whilst staying at the forefront of the beer, music and art scene in Leeds.

Olivier loves NY and also loves the gorgeous People Money Space Time Seshion IPA from Verdant Brewing Co. This one packs a punch rarely achieved by a 3.4%. Sluggable, chuggable and even huggable.

Jake has been whetting the ol’ whistle with Rooster’s Brewing Co. Festbier. It’s a taste of Germany, from just down’t road. We’ve yet to try a Roosters b**r we haven’t liked and the Festbier is no exception.

Jak is also getting a boost from the roost with their corker of a cask b**r Unsung Hero. If you follow us you’ll know we’re absolutely obsessed with West Coast Pales at the moment and this one has blown us away. the bitter finish delivered through the texture of cask is phenomenal.

Sam is sampling a Sync Rate from Amity Brew Co. it’s a smooth, caramelly American Red Ale made in our beloved Leeds, this is the second time we’ve stocked this and both times it’s flown out, so come by and give it a go while stocks last.

We’ve been buzzing about this. held the reins at North Bar and had his finger so firmly on the pulse of craft b**r in the U.K. he spotted Magic Rock’s potential very early. We were the first place outside of Huddersfield to pour their b**rs and we had the only permanent tap of Cannonball outside their tap room. That b**r, a classic West Coast was itself inspirational in one of our first b**rs when we had our own brewery.
