You may have heard that we're closing our doors at the end of the month?

Well there's an exciting new concept emba, being launched and we're looking for a little (or a lot) of help and have put together this Crowdfunder campaign.

The food we choosing to cook is the food we love to eat.
Lots of big flavours, plenty of fat, fire and comforting familiarity.

emba will try and bridge the gap between cosy bar and vibrant dining room, combining the ambiance of a taproom, the elegance of a wine/cocktail bar and the warmth and sense of community you get from your favourite local pub.

There are NO RULES, the menu is flexible, designed to suit whatever you're in the mood for—whether it's a snack with drinks, a satisfying lunch or a slow, indulgent set menu with wine pairings.

It's a big ask, but it's a big dream and we promise it'll be worth it

That’s another busy week complete!

Our new menu has gone down a treat with some spectacular new Dishes and thanks to everyone who joined us this week.

We have limited availability next weekend but do have space on Wednesday and Thursday.

Our new relaxed main menu will now change regularly and features hearty, yet elevated dishes like our Pork Chop Schnitzel.

A weighty, rare breed pork chop tenderised in a special marinade, then deep friend in our own secret recipe breadcrumb. It’s served with 50//50 mash Scottish wild mushrooms and Madeira sauce. YUM!

We also are simplifying the format. We’ll be offering a streamlined A La Carte menu with the option of either a 2 or 3 course menu of the day starting at just £26

You can choose from a totally trad roast with all of the trimmings, again starting at £26, or if you’d like something a little different try our signature Beef Wellington or our homemade Beef Sausage Toad in the Hole, both served with the most insanely delicious butter and beef fat mash.

As Christmas Eve approaches this Tuesday, any of you making last minute gift runs or seeking a final festive gathering with friends or work colleagues come join us for our fabulous Christmas lunch menu before heading home for the holiday break.

We’re firing up the mulled wine and bringing warm mince pies out of the oven for you!

Also don’t forget that our vouchers make perfect gifts and can be purchased from the comfort of your home - we email your vouchers so no need to make the trip into the city centre! Vouchers are emailed to you or directly to your recipient. Super quick and easy!
