Job Listing

Part time staff required for coffee shop which is situated in the Proper Bike Shop on Stanningley Road. This is a part time, long term requirement, and will include working on Saturdays. We are looking for keen, energetic individuals that are able to work as part of a team in a busy retail store. The coffee shop has a growing reputation for serving the best coffee locally. We also serve delicious cakes and some savoury snacks.

Duties include:

Serving coffee and cake with a smile
Operating the till
Replenishing stock
Housekeeping

Experienced is preferred but not essential. So long ad you are keen, reliable, punctual, and willing to learn - the rest can be taught.

We also make home made cakes and bakes so if you are able, there is the option to contribute to the in house baking too, during quiet periods.

Hours and days are flexible, please share and tag friends/family that may be interested!

New opening hours: Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, late night Thursday 10am to 8pm. Free speciality to anyone that comes in and correctly identifies what tool I’m carrying in this photo!!!!! Offer ends Saturday 1st February 6pm!!

WE ARE OPEN. Takes more than a bit of snow and complete financial and personal meltdown to keep us closed!!! Excuse the bun... 🤣🤣 Terrible. I know. We’re open til 5 today in both the cafe and the bike shop, with new blueberry muffins and now 4 different hot chocolate recipes to keep you sweet and warm this slushy Saturday morning! ☕️🚴🏽‍♀️❄️❤️
