Bearded Baker

Bearded Baker Delicious desserts, Bread Loaves and tasty treats made to order. I welcome ideas from anyone for a dessert or baked good they would like making.

Cash/Bank Transfer will be my preferred payment type as I don't currently have the ability to take card payments. My Menu is always evolving, new desserts and cakes being added and taken off accordingly from time to time. Samples provided before being added to the menu. If there is something that you would like swap out for a cake etc. for example, no Alcohol in a cake, this can be replaced with O

range juice instead, or if you would like a different flavour Brownie for example, please make an enquiry. Christmas Cakes & Jamaican Rum Cakes, are Seasonal, however, these can still be made for you, these have a 1 month lead time to allow for the cakes to be fed with Alcohol. Desserts such as Banoffee Pie & Cheesecakes, are available to order with a 2–3-day lead time. I prefer these to be collected in person, but local deliveries may be available, please send an enquiry for this. Bread is available next day or in some cases, the same day. All my Bread is hand made. These are standard loaves baked in a 3LB Loaf tin. As well as White Bread, there is the option of Brown or Wholemeal too. Should you have any questions regarding Food Allergens, then please make an enquiry. Where Chocolate is involved, there may be Nuts so please check with me in the first instance. For all other enquiries, please contact me accordingly.

24 hour Marinated Chicken Balti in a Homemade Shortcrust Pastry. These can be tailored to your spice level so if you like them hot, I can always add more Chilli's!

Calling all Vegetarian's!

I am now making Pie's with Seitan!

The photo's are of Seitan (Chicken Flavoured), Leek and Mushroom Pie in a White Wine Sauce (No gravy required). These went down really well with a Customer of mine.

Happy to flavour Seitan with Meat Free Beef & Chicken Oxo Cubes too for any other Pie's anyone would like.

After trialling these over the past few weeks with some of my customer’s, they have turned out to be very well received!
They may not look perfect but boy oh boy they taste good!

These are all Homemade, with Homemade Pastry and fillings. Both bottom and top Pie’s. They can be frozen for up to 3 months. Please give at least 24-hour notice for all Pie orders.

Savoury Pie’s

Meat ‘n’ Potato
Homemade Shortcrust Pastry, Minced Beef (5% Fat), Maris Piper Potatoes, Carrots, Celery and Onion, in a Beef gravy.

Chicken, Leek, Ham ‘n’ Mushroom
Homemade Shortcrust Pastry, Chicken Breast, Leeks, Chestnut Mushrooms, Smoked/Unsmoked Ham and Smoked Garlic in a White White Sauce.

Sweet Pie’s

Apple & Pear
Homemade Shortcrust Pastry, Bramley Apples, Conference Pears, topped with Golden Caster Sugar.

Apple, Pear & Blackberry
Homemade Shortcrust Pastry, Bramley Apples, hand-picked Blackberries, Conference Pears, topped with Golden Caster Sugar.

The Sweet Pie’s can also have a Shortcrust Pastry bottom with an Oaty Crumble Top.
