When we say we’re “trialing” something it usually means “we had an idea and tried it out as staff lunch”.
Here we’re “trialling” puddings. Watch as Paul bravely takes one for the team and is first to try out the Chocolate Pudding.
There will be an Easter Bake at Home pie menu and we hope to have these as the pudding options.

This week it’s the first of 2022. Yay!! And we’ve gone old school with the pud. Jam Roly Poly. But not any old Jam Roly Poly! This uses Jo’s fresh and zingy Rhubarb Compote. Made with only the best rhubarb from out friends at Whitely’s Farm, this puts a fresh Yorkshire twist on a classic.

There’s a few tables left for this week but hurry as they are bound to be snapped up as soon as what pudding is!!

Another post where I’ve got my phone precariously balanced on a shelf to capture the pie making process. And as I’m fairly (very) accident prone, yes I’m one of those people whose phone screen is always cracked! We love a proper pud. With custard. Here’s the OG of puddings - Treacle Sponge. Yeah there’s plenty of love out there for an STP. We’re big fans of it ourselves, who isn’t? But thinking back to our school days, where many of us first experienced those traditional puddings and Treacle is the one. It has all that warm fuzzy nostalgia attached to it.
