We are looking for some barista help… again
Well let me explain first, we are events company, we have our barista-bank-group-chat and each barista in the chat has other jobs, its “pic up your own shift” situation. With this, cancellations happen, and I always struggle to find covers for week-day events. All of the baristas in our chat have week-based jobs.
Same with this event, I have an event on Wednesday 2nd - Thursday 3rd July. This event is in Hertfordshire. I am setting off on Tuesday 1st morning. You can jump in the car with me or get a train in the evening that day- costs covered. We are camping at the venue with other traders- yes, its a vibe!
It will be long working days, I will not sugar coat this, we are serving non stop for several hours. Minimum 22 hours provided over the days, the hourly rate is £12.40, plus overnight bonus, plus 4% of the profits made. Food and meals covered. Breaks are paid!
The service can get intense but we have two options- one person reaches out to me and takes the whole 22 hours plus the whole bonus. Two people reach out to me and average of 12h each and 2% bonus each. Please message me your preference, or both. We will have to meet up this week and have little trial shift. If two people should reach out separately, but if youre frends and want to go in pair please let me know. This is agliculture festival, so a lot of time with animals and nature.
Ideal candidate- Barista with experience in busy service, those who worked in chains are very welcome to apply!
We will also accept if you have good hospitality experience, ie.: you know what its like to move in a busy service and work under a little stress.
Rough hours- 6am start, service starts at 7am, service should slow down at 4pm and then clean up time.
If you drive with me on 1st- there will be extra 5 working hours available.
Xoxo
