With the upcoming EGM on Wednesday 14 October at 6:30pm, the future of our honours boards is once again up for discussion at Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club.

These boards are more than just names on a wall. They represent years of history, achievement, competition, memories and the members who have helped make our club what it is today.

But members will naturally have different views, and this is an opportunity to hear them.

Let’s hear your thoughts!

Do you believe our honours boards are an important part of the club’s history and tradition?

Do you think they should be reinstated as proposed in the resolution?

Or do you have other views on how we should recognise and celebrate our club’s past achievements?

Please keep the discussion friendly and respectful. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and a healthy debate is part of being a members’ club.

Most importantly, please remember that the EGM needs at least 50 eligible Associate Members present to form a quorum. Without 50 members in attendance, the meeting cannot conduct its business.
