We’re delighted to announce that we will be presenting another performance of our acclaimed production of ‘Love Letters’ on July 31st. And we’re very excited to have the opportunity to bring this show to the beautiful theatre at Buscot Park. A wonderful, intimate setting for a memorable play.

‘Love Letters’ was a sell-out at The Trout in April, and we know there was a lot of demand for tickets that we sadly couldn’t accommodate - so please don’t miss this opportunity! The nature of the venue at Buscot means tickets are strictly limited; they’re on sale from this evening at ticketsource.co.uk/ttc, and from Tuesday at The Trout.

Congratulations to Highworth Canoe Club (who are based here at the Trout) on their fundraising paddle on Saturday 4th July.
They raised £590 for Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance with £112.54 collected on the night from our lovely generous customers.

Dear customers,We are officially not a football pub. However, our boss has temporarily lost her mind and is letting us close promptly at 9:00 PM tonight.

This allows our football-obsessed staff to do one of two things:

1/ Get a rare four hours of sleep.

2/ Calm their nerves with a few pints before kickoff.

Last orders are strict. Please leave quietly so the staff can sprint home.

Apologies for the quality of my recording.........I was trying to capture the "Barford boys" playing together. I'm sure you will all recognise Alfie and Freddie, who are split on stage by dad Ed, who you might not know.
I have a suspicion that these are quite a musical family. 😉

A big thank you to Anna and the Fireflies for a fantastic evening of music. I'm sorry I didn't get more videos, but thanks to all of you lovely customers, we were a tad busy which was great.
It was a perfect summer evening to have a band playing in the garden.
