So the black pudding has closed its doors and we are moving premises (still in Lechlade) we are moving to what was the old red lion (way back when) and most recently the Hungarian. It wil be under our sister companies name “Monique’s country kitchen” but we wil still be doing breakfast and takeaway baps etc as we did before.

We are aiming to be open by the middle of November but will update this page as we go. Thank you all for your custom whilst we were open, sadly the premises just wasn’t an ideal space so we look forward to welcoming you for our fabulous breakfasts that we became known for and our other lovely brunch and dinner offerings.

After a strange summer in Lechlade, from the 20th September we will be back to opening during the week, (still open Friday, Saturday and Sunday until then)

Our new open hours will be

Wednesday - 9am - 2pm
Thursday - 9am - 2pm
Friday - 9am - 2pm
Saturday - 9am - 2pm
Sunday - 9am - 2pm

We will continue with our breakfast and have a new exciting menu for light lunch/brunch. All will be available to sit in and take away.

Due to the current circumstances in Lechlade with the road closure I have had to make the decision to cut the opening days to friday, Saturday and Sunday 9-2, only until the situation is rectified with the road.

This isn’t an easy decision but I have to try and protect the business through this very tricky time for all the businesses In Lechlade.

The new opening hours will come into effect from next week. This week we will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please note we will be closing at 12noon this Sunday due to a private function. Please accept my apologies and I hope you can understand my decision.

I have been thinking about this for a while and i have decided to change the opening hours. If it doesn’t work we will revert back.

Tuesday - Friday 9am - 2pm
Saturday 8am - 2pm
Sunday 9am - 2pm

The change is that we are opening an hour later during the week.

🚨Now cancelled as the festival is cancelled, we will however do a burger night after our Mexican night 🚨

We will be open in the evenings over the Lechlade festival weekend, daytime hours will stay the same with added 6pm - 9pm on these dates 26th, 27th and 28th May.

We will be serving a takeaway or sit in burger and loaded wedges menu (which will be published next week).
