Whats on your mind, Madame Seitan?

Well… I’ve just turned 30! (I started this venture out at 21!) A whole new era is about to begin. I’m happy and healthy and I’m finally in a position to focus on my one true love again! Food!

I’ve got so many plans for what I’m going to do next with Madame Seitan.

I’m currently based in Rugby, and planning to set up a pop up kitchen in a lovely little cafe in the town. On monday I will be discussing with my event partner about what these events will look like.

But l’d love to hear from you!

What would you like to see on a menu?
What do you think is missing from menus when you go out to eat and what do you really crave?

I'm thinking … themed evenings, afternoon teas, and maybe workshops as well as food. Let me know what you think in the comment’s !

Some photos of bits and bobs from the events I was apart of while I was at . Super simple set up looking out onto the fields or our really cute diy kitchen down in the ancient woodland (my absolutely favourite time) to serve completely vegan whole food to all the lovely people! Very fond memories!

I am now working from a different premises and have a kitchen inspection booked in. Once we get the ball rolling and we’re back in business we’ll be sharing lots more info.

Excited to be back doing what I love the most, cooking and sharing food with people.

Hi all!

I’m currently working the next phase of Madame Seitan and what that’ll look like. I’ve currently got a few small private parties booked in and maybe some plans for packaged baked goods/Seitan roasts/deli meats that would sent out to you lovely customers by post. All these things need to be reviewed and approved before I can announce exactly what I’ll be doing ofcorse…. So keep your eyes peeled! But in the mean time If anyone has any questions/enquiries please do send me over a message I am always available / interested in private parties. I’m currently based in rugby but can travel far and wide.

Hi all! Kierra here,
I’m out of hibernation and I’m just letting people know that there are only a few tickets left for this wonderful event that Hideaway Wood Farm are putting on and I am catering for.
We’ve got .floating home hosting a fireside talk alongside his book release, I’m so very proud and excited to apart of this event, it’s been a while since I did any sort of catering- I tell you I’ve missed it so much! is my new base and I will be teaming up with them to host events/workshops/food evenings through out the year - if you haven’t already made a visit to hideaway, please go follow them and check out the website of all the amazing events that we put on here, we are a female run care farm- we have 35 alpacas, (two of 3 of the wonderful women that make this place what it is, pictured) You really have see the place to really feel how magic it is. ✨

We love connecting with inspiring people who have made courageous decisions to live life a little differently. We’re delighted that Adam Lind of .floatinghome is going to be joining us around the fire here on the farm for an evening of inspiring conversation.

If you follow Adam on social media, you’re no doubt already touched by his stories of human connection and his vulnerability. Adam will be talking to us about the lessons he’s learned from his inspiring life of adventure (including a hitchhiking adventure with his wife Lauren from London to Turkey which took them five years) and narrowboat living. He will also be sharing some mindset tips and tricks that have helped him overcome obstacles and lead a life of purpose. There will be plenty of time to ask Adam questions.

Adam has just released a new book ‘Floating Home, Lessons from a Life Less Ordinary’. Everyone who attends the event will receive a copy of Adam’s book, once printed (currently on pre order - collection will be from the farm once printed in September).

Hi all! Two very important events coming up at the old faithful LTB!
First we’ve got the craftivist exchange on the 14th- come share your skills, swap clothes, dance to some tunes or make a zine. We will be collecting donations for Palestine charity. Free entry!!!!

Then we’ve got The LTB closing party on the 28th - loads of bands, two rooms- £5 entry! I’ll be doing some food for the event- 100% vegan and cruelty free as always.

Hi folks. I was supposed to be posting about a big surprise reveal about a month ago. Sadly, this is actually a post to say that supruise won’t be happening.
I put all my savings into buying a food trailer to start up events again, but we’ve been scammed out of all our money, and have no trailer.
I’m absolutely gutted, in bits to be honest as I have no idea what the next step is going to be for Madame Seitan. This was my big plan I was leading up to after closing the cafe premises 3 years ago…save save save! And then open up a food truck and the world is my oyster. I’m devastated. But I thought I’d let the lovely people who have followed me and asked about what’s next know….
