Cafe Desa Naturally Nourishing food, Organic Juice and Smoothies, Specialty Coffee and Fine Tea

We obsess over latte art… but rarely think about the journey behind it.

Specialty coffee begins with healthy coffee trees—carefully nurtured soil, well planned shading, and timing.

Only the ripest cherries are hand-picked, one by one, leaving the rest behind for another day.

These cherries are then sorted according to colour, size and density. All these happen before any of the pre-washing and fermentation processes to bring out the flavour in your coffee beans!

Next time you sip, remember the hands behind it and all the processes and the journey the beans take before we grind them. And savour every moment of that cup ❤️

Desa means Village in the Indonesian language ✨
It is the coming together of family, friends and community.

Our café is rooted in a sense of belonging — inspired by the warmth and togetherness found in villages across Indonesia.

A place where people gather naturally, where conversations are unhurried, and where everyone is welcomed like a familiar face.

At Cafe Desa, we have created a space where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and feel part of something simple and genuine — like sitting among friends in a quiet village, where connection comes easily 💛💛💛

We love the coffee we serve, and we love talking about it 💛

Cynthia’s now back from her Coffee Quality Institute Coffee Processing Course in Indonesia (passed her exam 🙌🏽) and is even more excited about where your coffee comes from and the long journey it takes to finally bring you that cup of coffee we then adorn with the Instagrammable latte art.

We have a diverse selection of Indonesian coffee- perfect brewed as a pour-over for you to try at the cafe.

For those who like to geek out, follow us at - where we will cover the whole supply chain of coffee from farm to cup and share with you our roasting journey.

It is everything we believe in- healthy eating made simple but delicious; well-balanced meals that not only nourish but make you go back for more; it is making small changes in your lifestyle to create sustainable, long lasting impacts. Most important of all it is doing it with the right tribe!

The retreat is not just about healthy eating- we will be cooking together and going through every skill in cooking you’d like to go through to give you the confidence to meal prep in the kitchen.

We will start our retreat with a mental reset- by none other than - EFT Tapping expert!

Not all coffee is the same and here we will be showing you how to choose coffee you like and how to use its health benefits for health and longevity!

This retreat will also include a Foraging Session with . Paul will talk us through what we can forage in our daily walks and utilise these plants in our cooking. It is incredibly fascinating how much of what we find in our daily walks can be used!

We are also so excited to have and join us for optional treatments.

You know you are getting a consistently good coffee when you are at Desa. We monitor our coffee’s extraction time each and every time thanks to our workhorse Eagle 1.

You’ll see us adjusting the grinder at various times of the day and sometimes we may throw the shot we just pulled because it’s under or over extracted. It’s important to us that we get it right so we get the most flavour out of the specialty beans we use.

Let’s show you something special- choose from our reliably delicious house or our bright and lively Indonesian , experimental co-ferments .possession 🔥 Our guest espressos change regularly so keep checking them out!

Precision in every pour.
