It's the start of our Heritage Open Days weekend, Lavenham Guidlhall is open Friday 18th September- Sunday 20th September at 10.30am until 16.00pm for FREE!

Explore our beautiful historic building and watch Lavenham Guild Spinners and Weavers demonstrate their heritage craft.

Enjoy free entry at Lavenham Guildhall for Heritage Open Days from the 18th to the 20th September. You can discover the stories of the people who have used the Guildhall through its almost-500 years at the heart of its community, and learn about the men and women who have shaped the fortunes of this unique village. Learn more about how the wool trade ties into Lavenham, as Lavenham Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers join us to demonstrate the skills and processes of traditional wool production.

The Pooch Passport is back! Between now and 28 February 2027, every time you and your dog visit a different National Trust place from the 137 taking part, you can get a stamp in your passport. At Lavenham Guildhall, well behaved dogs are welcome in our tea room and the courtyard garden.

Once you have collected:
🐾five stamps, your dog can get a free bag of Forthglade Natural Pet Food natural dog treats
🐾ten stamps, you get an exclusing Pooch Passport pin badge!

You can find a full list of participating places at nationaltrust.org.uk/pooch-passport.

Head to Visitor Reception to pick up your Pooch Passport and collect your first stamp.

Did you know you can visit the tea room and enjoy the garden courtyard without having to pay an entry fee? Open daily 10am - 4pm.

Are you book lover thinking of downsizing your book collection? Why not donate them to our second-hand book shop!

We're on the look out for more books for our bookshop with proceeds from all books sold going towards looking after Lavenham Guildhall.
