A MAD Friday in more ways than one 🙈😂

They say things come in 3’s… and today definitely proved that! 😩

I survived a lunch service solo while Paul was doing his best to fix the truck, battled with a broken card machine for the first hour of lunch service, and somehow managed to rush around with a sharp knife enough times that by the end I looked like I’d been in a fight with Edward Scissorhands! 😩🔪😂

And then… I have to admit, in the middle of all the chaos, I took my eye off the ball with the tatties and we ended up selling out earlier than planned! 🥔🙈

So a huge apology to anyone who came along and we weren’t able to serve today. We’re genuinely gutted when that happens! ❤️

Safe to say, I’ll be applying for a crash course in running the tattie ovens for future occasions when the tattie mannie is out of action! 😂

Thank you to everyone who battled through the chaos with me today — Now… I’m off for a lie down! 😂

A fluffy tattie loaded with cheese, our homemade Coronation chicken, toasted flaked almonds, crispy onions & pickled shallots, finished with a sour cream drizzle. 🤤

And just like that, our weekend of vintage fun has come to an end! 🥔✨

A huge thank you to Laigh O’Moray for having us along this weekend — we’ve had such a brilliant time! ❤️

One of our customers said how lovely it was to see all the vendors exchanging food with each other, and honestly… we couldn’t agree more! 😆

Some of our best events aren’t just down to our amazing customers, but also the brilliant fellow food vendors we get to work alongside. And let’s be honest… after a busy service, why wouldn’t we want someone else to cook our dinner for us?! 😂🌯🍔🍕

That’s one of the things we love most about doing what we do — great food, great people and a good bit of food swapping behind the scenes! ❤️

We’re back with a jam-packed week next week, including a NEW LOCATION being unlocked 👀🔓
