Join us for a 3-course Scottish-inspired menu to celebrate the night in true style.

23rd January Burns Night 5:30-9pm
🍽 3 courses – £40 per person
💷 £20 deposit per person required to secure your table
🍷 BYOB – bring your own bottle a corkage fee will be applied

Felt good to get the rolling pin out today again been a while since I made these bad boys. Well if you have missed the famous Xmas pies.
I will be making them again at The Coffee House Montrose go and follow there page to see when they will be back on and also what we be making next.

Just like being back at school tomorrow is my first day in my new job The Coffee House Montrose . New clothes layed out ready to get back to it. Please be patient and allow me to settle in before I put my spin on things.

Seen this quote and it is so true.

Then I realized to be more alive, I had to be less afraid. So I did it. I lost my fear and gained my whole life.

Here is to a new chapter in my life.

💛 Gannets is Closing Today 💛

Today is the day I say goodbye.

After so many beautiful years filled with coffee, conversation, laughter, and community, Gannets is closing its doors for the very last time.

I honestly don’t have enough words to express what this place has meant to me — and to so many of you.

Gannets has been more than just a café. It's been a meeting place, a quiet corner for reflection, a celebration spot, and sometimes even a sanctuary. It’s been woven into the everyday lives and special moments of our wonderful community.

To everyone who’s walked through the doors — thank you.
Thank you for your loyalty.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for making this little place feel like home.

I will miss the familiar faces, the smell of fresh bakes in the morning, and the hum of conversation over cups of tea and coffee. But most of all, I will miss you.

If you’re passing, please pop in today for one last goodbye. I would love to see you.

With a full heart, endless gratitude and love to you all.
