Following Staff wanted:

cook‼️- to be able to cook and serve quality dishes in a fast paced environment, while working as a team. Some form of Experience is ideal but not essential as full training will be provided.
The job would include:

•serving good quality dishes in a timely manner.
•communications skills
•good hygiene
• FIFO (first in, first out) controlling stock levels.
•keeping up to date with food handling booklet.
•prepping for your shift and rumbling potatoes.
•maintaining a clean and tidy station.

Counter assistant‼️- experience would not be required as full training would be given.
which would include:
•taking orders and handling money efficiently.
•communicating with the kitchen team with orders.
•maintaining a clean station and finding cleaning jobs during quite periods.
•restocking and making takeaway boxes.
•washing up/ clean down at end of shift.
• most importantly, communicating well and showing a happy and welcoming approach towards the customers.

Posts like this shouldn’t have to be made in the first place but we have a business to protect.

A few days ago a post was made against us, claiming food poisoning and mouldy chips.
We of course don’t shy away from complaints, the right ones of course.

We reached out to make things right, While it got a lot of attention, and our business was getting hit, the post got deleted, admin or the author who knows.

•This is where it gets upsetting for us to stand by and see this.

‼️The wife of the husband came in the next day, admitted the kids was not ill or food poisoning, the post was made out of anger due to him expecting the kids meals to be £2 but had to pay full price (didn’t start untill the next following day). We did have customers in that witnessed this.‼️

This is upsetting to see and to stand by while people make false allegations and really damage a business.
For what? All out of anger of something we did not cause? We will always advertise when a promo comes on if it’s a special, it will always be on our page.

A lot of work goes into keeping a business afloat, and it all can be taken away from you with something as simple as that.

We agreed, there were a few bad chips in the bunch.
We issued a refund.
But let’s make one thing clear,
Our chips are rumbled, cut, and blanched every single day.
We hold a 5 star food and hygiene.
We practice proper health and hygiene.
We pride ourselves on good quality food.
Granted there’s always mistakes to be made, and we will always fix it.

They ordered more food the next following day, on the basis she would make a post to undo some of the wrong doing.
That post never came so I’m unfortunately left to try and defend ourselves, and I believe I have shown respect my side by not tagging the set individuals.

Please don’t be like this, to any business.
Most places cannot return from such.

Thank you to the people who did defend us, shown support and to our constant friendly faces who keep us going, we are not going anywhere❤️
