Thank you to the lovely children and parents who joined our first Creative Calm Art Session today 🎨

They created Mother’s Day canvases, handmade cards and enjoyed our little photo booth. It was such a calm and creative hour.

I’ll be running another small session soon for children aged 5–12. If your child enjoys drawing, crafts or creative activities, feel free to message me for the next date.

Creative Calm Art Session for Children

Over the past few days we’ve been quietly preparing this little workshop space with a lot of care — setting up the art tables, preparing the art kits, arranging a small photo corner for mums and children, and getting some quick nibbles ready to munch for the kids.

The idea was simple: create a calm creative moment where children can paint freely, make something special for Mum, and parents can also get a small emotional insight into how their child expresses themselves through art.

We already have a few lovely young artists booked in today and the session is definitely running.

If anyone has been still thinking about it after seeing our earlier post, you are very welcome to come and try the session today.

🌸 A small thought before Mother’s Day…

Do you sometimes notice your child feeling a little overwhelmed — big emotions, busy minds, and not always the words to explain what they feel?

Many parents tell us their children have so much energy and emotion, and sometimes creative spaces help them release it beautifully.

And yet, when children sit with colours, paper and a little quiet space… something shifts. They slow down, express themselves, and often feel calmer.

This Sunday we’re hosting a Mother’s Day Creative Calm Art Session where children can create a heartfelt handmade gift for Mum while enjoying a gentle, guided creative experience.

Along the way, parents will also receive a small insight into their child’s emotional world — a thoughtful takeaway to help understand them just a little better.

📅 Sunday [ 15th March ]
⏰ 60 minutes [10:30 am - 11:30
am & 12:30 pm - 13:30 pm]
💷 Pricing [£20 per child ,£15 each child, when siblings attend together]

✨ Quick nibbles will be available for children during the session and tea/coffee for parents as well ☺️
✨ The workshop will run once 4 bookings are confirmed per session so we can keep the group small and personal.

Hi everyone! We’re opening up our cosy café space for hire to local individuals and groups.

Our space could be perfect for:
