HAPPY FRIDAY FOLKS!!
We are BACK!!

We're clean, we're green and very VERY keen to welcome you all back to your friendly local G&D 😁

We didn't quite get everything done that we had planned unfortunately BUT we are looking a lot fresher! After over three years in this lovely lil pub she's finally been shown some love and has had a bit of a face lift. Looking, feeling and smelling fresh.

Thursday's at the G&D.
Music makers night. A night hosted and featuring a live performance from the awesome Amy Rae- Musician where she is joined by tonights guest act Anthony Livingstone from the 44's.

However due to the continued work being done at the George and Dragon this weeks music makers will be held at our sister pub Ring o Bells Lancaster.
Where all of the G&D's regular customers will receive 50p off your first drink today.

The George and Dragon remains closed today while we do the finishing touches of our little 'revamp'

And also so the landlord can clean up after himself.....
He's a messy decorator.....

The Dragon awakes from its slumber Friday the 5th of June at the normal opening time of 2pm.

Edit: The The George and Dragon pub quiz will NOW be taking place at the Ring o Bells Lancaster this evening at 7:30pm. Hosted by Sam Walsh.
The G&D unfortunately will be closed again today as our face lift has taken a little bit longer than we planned.

Same prizes, same quiz, just at our sister pub and also featuring FREE PIZZA for the half time break.
Any G&D regulars inconvenienced by this will get 50p knocked off your FIRST drink at the bells today to compensate.

The reason for the G&D being closed.
After being at the G&D for three years she is getting some much needed TLC. A deep clean and a fresh coat of paint. Ring o bells has seen a lot of love and attention in this regard and it wouldn't have been possible for us to do that if it wasn't for the George and Dragon. So now she's getting a day of pampering.
No big fancy refurbishment, we like the ol girl as she is, but she is getting a bit of a face lift.
Appreciate the understanding and the continued support.

After two glorious weeks of sun the weather has taken an unfortunate turn. But we still have plenty worth coming down the Quay for. The G&D fire is lit for you to come dry off by. The collection of free to play board games are available as is our Foosball table and the free to play arcade. Definitely worth calling in.
