Fresh update from the fryer! 🥔🍟

We’re now frying locally grown new potatoes from Pilling – the fantastic Agria variety.

Agria potatoes are renowned for producing beautifully golden, crispy chips on the outside while staying light and fluffy in the middle.

Supporting local growers and serving the very best quality chips… that’s what we’re all about. 💛

🏅 Half Marathon No. 2 of 3 completed!

Today I completed the Aintree Half Marathon in support of St John’s Hospice. It was certainly a warm one out there ☀️🥵 but what a great event and another 13.1 miles in the bag!

Two down, one to go… Manchester in October! 🏃‍♂️💪

28 years ago today, we bought the chip shop on Prospect Street and transformed it into Hodgson’s Chippy.

Without doubt, it was the biggest and best decision of our lives.

We can honestly say we’ve loved every minute of the journey.

A huge thank you to our fantastic team and our wonderful customers for your loyalty and support over the years. We couldn’t have done it without you.
