The Courtyard Cafe

The Courtyard Cafe Serving great quality food and drinks in our light, spacious cafe with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

The Courtyard Café opened in September 2017 at St John's Hospice, serving home made cakes, freshly ground coffee and a fine selection of hot and cold food prepared to order. We hope to resume serving lunches soon, but for now we have a great selection of chilled deserts, cakes, scones and other baked goods on offer. Much of our fresh fruit and vegetables are grown on site in our vegetable garden.

The garden, along with nearly everybody working in the café, are volunteers giving their time freely to support the café and St John's Hospice. All proceeds from our scrumptious cakes, home cooked lunches and freshly ground coffee go straight back to St John’s Hospice.

Please bear in mind this means that on Friday lunch orders will be stopping earlier than usual at 12.30pm in order for us to get ready to welcome you all 🍰
