🍺 WE’RE HIRING – ASSISTANT VENUE MANAGER 🍺

Well, we did only just tell you how brilliant our current Assistant Venue Manager is… so perhaps we tempted fate. 😂

We’re very sad to be saying goodbye to Tom as he heads off to pastures new, but we’re also incredibly pleased for him – and it means there’s now a spot opening up in our lovely little team at Tite & Locke.

We’re looking for a new Assistant Venue Manager to join us on Platform 3 at Lancaster Station.

This is a full-time, 40-hour role, with alternate weekend working, helping run a busy, slightly unusual and very beer-focused little venue.

🍻 12 rotating craft beer lines
🎸 A regular programme of live music
🚂 A bar right in the middle of Lancaster Station
🙌 A brilliant little team
📅 Alternate weekends off
💷 £28,500-£30,000 per year

We’re looking for someone with hospitality experience who’s ready for their next step – whether you’re already an Assistant Manager or a great Supervisor looking to move up.

An interest in craft beer is definitely a bonus. You don’t have to know everything about it (we can help with that!), but enthusiasm for good beer, good hospitality and looking after people goes a long way.

MEET THE TEAM – TOM ✨

Meet Tom… our Assistant Manager who never struggles to strike up a conversation 🙌

Joining the team in September 2025, Tom brings plenty of experience with him, from having a Marketing degree to previously running his own events company 👏

He's also our resident beer expert. If you've got a question about hops, styles or what to try next, chances are Tom will have an answer for you 🍻

And when he's off the clock? You'll often find him enjoying a Firecracker Gin from our sister company, 🍸🔥

Fun fact… he once appeared in a TV advert, and his gift for chatting is so strong that he's even managed to make someone miss their train before! 🚂😄

Knowledgeable, welcoming, and always happy to have a natter, Tom has quickly become a big part of the Tite & Locke team ❤️

Meet Sophie… one of the newest faces at Tite & Locke 🙌

Lancaster born and bred, Sophie has recently joined the team and is already settling into life at the station ❤️

When she's not on shift, she's busy studying Criminology at university, often with a good book in hand, balancing reading, lectures, and life at Tite & Locke 📚

Whether she's serving guests or learning something new, Sophie brings plenty of enthusiasm and is a great addition to the team 👏

We're excited to have her on board and can't wait to see her journey at Tite & Locke unfold ✨

MEET THE TEAM – CORIN ✨

Meet Corin… one of our rising stars at Tite & Locke 🙌

Starting out as a glass collector and working his way up through the team, Corin has been on quite the journey with us and has become a familiar face around the venue 👏

Outside of work, things get pretty competitive… he's represented England at the Korfball World Championships 🏆🌍

When he's not on shift or on the court, he's got his sights set on studying Sports Engineering, combining his love of sport with an analytical mind 📚⚙️

And if he's enjoying a drink after work? It's got to be a classic Rum & Coke 🥃

Ambitious, driven, and with plenty more chapters still to come, we're excited to see where Corin's journey takes him 🙌✨

MEET THE TEAM – RHYS ✨

Meet Rhys… our Senior Supervisor and one of the sharpest dressed members of the team 👌

Rhys first joined the company back in 2019 at our sister venue, The Sun Hotel & Bar. After some time away, he made his way back and now calls Tite & Locke home 🙌

When it comes to fashion, Rhys definitely has his own style. His outfit choices often become a talking point among the team… but we think every venue needs someone keeping everyone on their toes 😏✨

With English, Welsh and Scottish heritage, he’s got roots all over the UK and brings a calm, steady presence to the team ❤️

And if he’s winding down after a shift, there’s a good chance he’ll be reaching for a Honeycomb Pale from SEVEN BRO7HERS BREWERY 🍺
