🔥 Dish of the Week: Larb (aka the salad that forgot it was a salad) 🔥
Meet Larb – Thailand’s answer to “what if a salad actually made you full and a little obsessed?”
Originally from the northeastern region of Thailand, known as Isan, Larb is a bold, zesty dish made with minced meat (usually chicken, pork, or beef), fresh herbs, lime juice, fish sauce, and toasted rice powder for that nutty crunch. It’s spicy, tangy, savoury… basically a full-on flavour party in your mouth.
Fun fact: Larb is often considered the unofficial national dish of Laos too — so yes, it’s internationally loved and slightly competitive.
Despite technically being a “salad,” there’s no lettuce in sight. Just juicy meat, punchy herbs, and enough chilli to keep things interesting 🌶️
Perfect with sticky rice, best enjoyed with friends, and guaranteed to wake up your taste buds (and possibly your sinuses)
👉 Grab yours this week and see why Larb is the life of the party.
