Driveway Pop-Up No.3… SOLD OUT 🥹
And I’m not entirely sure I can take the credit for this one 😂
For pretty much the first two hours there was an almost constant queue, and at one point Emma, who originally came as a customer and has become a friend, literally jumped out of the queue, put some gloves on and started helping me serve.
No training. No warning. Just “right, what do you need me to do?” 😂🥹
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, my mum was making buttercream for the cupcake decorating party I had to leave for later that day, and my 11-year-old was helping glaze 50+ doughnuts 🍩
Then I disappeared off to run the party, and Niall took over the stall for the rest of the day ☺️
And somehow, between customers helping, friends mucking in, my family picking up whatever job I’d accidentally created for them next, and all of you turning up again and again… we sold out 🥹🤍
I call The Whisk & Platter my business, but days like this make me realise how much of it is built on other people showing up for me 🥹🫶🏼
Driveway Pop-Up No.3 was chaotic, ridiculous and completely brilliant (again!) 😂
And apparently the moral of the story is that keeping up with your lot’s doughnut addiction takes 16-hour days and a small army 😂🍩
So are we saying yes to Driveway Pop-up No4? 👀🤍
