You lot said YES… so I’m opening a little W&P pop-up on my driveway this Saturday 😂🫣

Perfect timing for stocking up before the England game too… because football snacks are absolutely a thing and I won’t hear otherwise 🤷‍♀️⚽️

We’ve got stuffed NYC cookies, brownies, cookie pies, s’mores pie, school cake, rocky road and plenty more 🤤

I’m also doing graze picnic boxes! 🧀🍓 These are pre-order only, perfect for this weather or if you want something savoury before eating your body weight in cookie pie 😂

You can pre-order any of the bakes too, or just turn up on Saturday and choose from whatever I’ve got left ☺️

What if I did a little W&P pop-up from my house this Saturday? 👀

A table full of brownies, cookie pies, brookies, rocky road, school cake… basically all the good stuff ready to grab for Saturday night/the England game/just because you want cake 🤷‍♀️😂

I’d open pre-orders so you can guarantee your favourites, with plenty available to just turn up and choose from too ☺️

So before I get carried away and bake enough to feed the whole of Chorley… would you actually come? 😂

Bake suggestions welcome too… apart from doughnuts. Nobody needs to see me frying doughnuts in a 30-degree English heatwave 😅🫣

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet this week… I’ve been busy learning to make ravioli in Sorrento 😍🇮🇹🧑‍🍳

A very tough week of gnocchi, pasta, pizza, and pretending this definitely counts as professional development for The Whisk & Platter 😂🍝

I’m back tomorrow and will get through any messages I’ve missed as soon as I can 🤍

For now, I’m off to eat my body weight in carbs one last time before Ryanair brings me crashing back down to reality 😅✈️

Yesterday was a first for The Whisk & Platter… I hosted my very first cupcake decorating birthday party and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better group of children 🥹

They were so creative, so enthusiastic and completely threw themselves into it (along with a fair amount of buttercream and sprinkles 😰😂).

Every child decorated six cupcakes to take home in their own personalised box, we had a grazing table to keep everyone fuelled, birthday cake, lots of laughs… and I think it’s safe to say there were some very proud little faces by the end of it. 🥹

Seeing how different every single box turned out was one of my favourite parts. No two were the same, and that’s exactly how it should be!

A huge thank you to Toni Danielle who trusted me with such a special day. Watching an idea that’s been sat in my head for so long finally come to life was pretty emotional. 💕

So, this ridiculous “English heatwave” has made it pretty much impossible to bake during the day… 🥵😅

It has, however, given me far too much time to sit and brainstorm… which, let’s be honest, is usually dangerous. 😂🍩

If I started doing doughnut pop-ups…

Would you rather know I’m in the same place every week? Or would it be more exciting if I popped up at different pubs, businesses and events?

I’d absolutely love to do Friday lunch pop-ups for workplaces too… imagine finishing a morning at work and there’s fresh brioche doughnuts and brownies waiting outside. 😍

So… where should I bring them? Tag your workplace, your local pub, your favourite venue… or just tell me where you’d love to see us 😍

These guys are the most lovely, genuine people. We met at my first stall, and they were so kind and offered wonderful advice and support! 🥹

If anyone would like to support them in helping local people who are struggling, check out this post from them. £2.50 might not be a big ask for you, but it could mean a hot meal for someone who really does need it ♥️
