This one holds two beautiful milestones, Luiza’s Baptism and her 8th Birthday wrapped up in one celebration.

Every detail here carries meaning. The soft pinks and creams speak of gentleness and new beginnings. The roses that encircle the top, love that surrounds her. The doves, peace and the beginning of her faith journey. "Look to Christ" a guiding light for all the years ahead.

And the number 8 a birthday, a double celebration of who Luiza is and who she will become.

🌿 A Wedding Showstopper of Rustic Beauty

When this bride told me she wanted something beautifully rustic, naturally abundant, and truly unforgettable we didn’t just make a cake. We created a centrepiece that filled the room.

Stretching a magnificent 1.2 metres long, designed to sit proudly down the centre of the table and feed 100 loved ones. Soft, gently textured buttercream, no sharp edges or overly polished finish just warm, handcrafted charm, exactly as she dreamed.

Then we dressed it generously, lavishly, with all the richness of the season. Fresh dahlias and soft roses, dried oranges, sweet figs, deep blueberries and jewel-bright redcurrants, with apples, pinecones and autumnal leaves woven through. Arranged so it feels wild, abundant, and completely alive.

And yes, I delivered this beautiful creation all the way to Neidpath Castle, Peebles. So you can rest easy knowing your cake will arrive safely and perfectly, wherever your special day is.

So many couples are choosing barns, marquees and those lovely relaxed venues now and this style fits perfectly into that rustic, shabby-chic charm. It can be dressed with fresh flowers or entirely edible buttercream blooms, whichever you prefer, to match your day exactly.

The Heart of The Edible Florist

It began with something simple, a love of baking, and a love of flowers. And I thought… why choose just one, when you can have both?

I don’t just smooth buttercream over a sponge and add a decoration. I pipe petal by petal, bloom by bloom, turning buttercream into roses, daisies, and delicate flowers that look as though they’ve just been gathered from the garden. No shortcuts at all just care, patience, and so much love.

But it’s never only about how it looks. It’s about how it tastes too. Light, fluffy homemade sponge, my signature creamy buttercream, and that genuine homemade flavour you just can’t buy anywhere else.

Every order isn’t simply another cake to make. It’s a birthday, an anniversary, a new arrival, or a gentle way to say “I’m thinking of you”. 21st Birthday — Double the Deliciousness!
