Happy New Year from the team behind Prego 🥂🥳🍻🎉

As we bring in the New Year shared with some of our friends and family, we all had an emotional moment at some point of the night. The kind words,cards and gifts from people has helped to show the team how much they are all appreciated. To see how close the the team have bonded and become a wee family is definitely something to be proud of! I’m honoured to have an amazing team behind me!

Thank you to everyone over the past few weeks that have made it in to pass on kind words and thanked us all for the 14 years of service we have offered! It has been an absolute pleasure ❤️

Myself and the team end the year with a tearful eye and say goodbye to this chapter but start the year with a new challenge. Everyone will join me in the next chapter at Platinum Kitchen, the fact everyone of the team have put full trust in me and following onto the next challenge just shows how much trust, respect and how close we all are!

From us all at Prego an honest heartfelt thank you for the last 14 years and we wish everyone the very best for the year ahead!

Thank you for all the memories and laughs, the friends I have met and the families I have watch grow. A family vibe has always been at the heart of Prego Lanark

The end of an era

After 14 years of business we have taken the decision to terminate the lease for Prego 🥲

This has been a very difficult decision and many months of negotiations but unfortunately with rising overheads and other issues outwith our control we have made this decision to close. Our last night will be 31st December

I would like thank all our loyal customers over the 14 years I have been in Prego. I am honoured to have provided a service for the community over this time and tried my very hardest to do what I could to accommodate and give back to this amazing wee town. I have been blessed to meet some of the nicest people that are now a big part of my life and will continue to be very good friends. We all have some great memories and times in the restaurant which and I’m honoured to have been part of. This will be a very emotional month as we near to the end. I must also give the biggest thanks to all the staff over the years, we have had some amazing people in prego and always tried to make the team feel like a wee family. From the Christmas Eve’s, cancer research nights, Lanimars day and many more special events our team have loved the buzz and energy each and every person brought to prego ❤️

This is as much a business decision as it is a life choice. I will now have more time to concentrate on my other ventures, new beginnings and more family time. Hospitality is a difficult trade to be working in never mind having several different businesses within it. The years since Covid have been very challenging and by the looks of it will continue to be the same for many more, we have adapted and kept moving with this and the support for you all has been overwhelming which I will always be grateful for

This will obviously mean we are not providing gift vouchers as we are unsure what the future of Prego is at this time. I would ask that any outstanding vouchers could be used before the end of the month for that last visit and it would be great to see as many of you all as possible. If anyone has a voucher and can’t make it in please get in contact to arrange a refund 🙏🏻

We look forward to see you all and celebrate the last Christmas with us
