Bookings for meals can only be made by popping in or calling us on 01770 600844, not via facebook. We recommend booking for tables to avoid disappointment, but this

Today is one of those days that reminds us why we took the leap.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Lamlash Bay Hotel is a finalist in the West of Scotland Regional Thistle Awards; the highest recognition in Scottish tourism.

When we took on an island hotel, we knew there would be challenges, especially with having such little kids, but we also knew this special place had something truly unique, and with an amazing team and a wonderful community behind it, we have loved every minute.

This recognition however belongs to every single member of our team, past and present. Your warmth, your kindness, your commitment to our guests, your community spirit and the way you’ve embraced every challenge and new opportunity with positivity. We couldn’t be prouder.

To our team, our guests, our community, the previous owners and everyone who has supported us on this journey, thank you.

We’ll proudly represent Arran at the final on 24th September. Wish us luck 🍀

We’ve officially landed at the Scottish Entertainment & Hospitality Awards in Glasgow 🍸✨

Up for ‘Best Team’ and ‘Picture Perfect Venue’ … and the competition is seriously strong tonight.

Meanwhile: Heidi’s found the free bar (no work tomorrow, obviously), Steve’s bumped into the Cheeky Girls so he’s already won his night, and David… well, good luck to everyone he’s “looking after” tonight or maybe good luck to whoever ends up looking after him 😂

Whatever happens, it’s shaping up to be the biggest party in Scotland. Let’s see how this one plays out… 🥂good luck to all the finalists, everyone in hospitality deserves to be celebrated 👏

HIT the Rock! Came back with a bang 💥🏔️⛴️

Lamlash Bay Hotel were delighted to bring the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland (HIT) dinner back to the Isle of Arran tonight, with a feast prepared and presented by Cyrus Todiwalla OBE who gave his time generously to help us raise funds for the Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland Charity.

Along with generous support from local businesses Lagg Distillery Visitor Centre VisitArran Brakes Scotland Campbells Prime Meat Ltd Heineken Arran Brewery Bellhaven Taste of Arran Alliance Wine Cairns & Scott Arran Ice Cream and Peroni Fish Ayr ARRAN Sense of Scotland And showcasing some of our local young talent Skirl Power - what a collaboration for a great cause! 👏

🚁 David has only just got his helicopter licence - we accept no liability for loss or damage. Derek’s arms need a few journeys to bulk up - budget option could take 3-4 hours in the off-season. Quilts on the waterbed are not waterproof - Guests my experience soggy bottom, Heidi will be waiting with plenty of towels on arrival 🌊
