The shelves are pretty bare just now, its been a busy day. Thank you to everyone who came in this week - the Bialy's seem to have gone down well so will be a regular on the menu!
I'm opening on Saturday this week from 10 till 3 as its the Hebridean Wh**ky Festival Finale at the Isle of Raasay Distillery, hope to see you then.

Its feeling very autumnal, so I have some additions to the menu (homemade of course).
As a new savoury option I have Bialy's, a bread roll with the filling baked in it. Today we have Mozarella, Tomato & Pesto or Brie & Caramelised Onion
And for those with a sweeter tooth I have teacakes waiting to be toasted and smothered in butter or jam.
Theres also Sweet Potato, Cumin & Coconut soup; Cheese & Fruit Scones; Carrot Cake; Lemon Drizzle; Salted Caramel Squares; Old School Sprinkle Cake; Pecan Pie Slice and Chocolate Loaf.

Its a wet and breezy start to the day but 🤞its improving later!
On the menu today is:
Tomato, pesto and mozarella quiche
Barley and veg soup
Plain, fruit and cheese scones
Rhubarb and custard blondie
Orange Polenta Cake (GF)
Malteser, marshmallow chocolate biscuit slice
Date and banana loaf with brown sugar glaze
Florentines (GF)

Coffee machine sorted in time to stop at Sconser for my favourite toastie and an iced strawberry matcha from the lovely team at The Noost

Whilst Craig at Skye Coffee Roasters is investigating whats wrong with my coffee machine I've taken advantage of the beautiful weather and called in to the fabulous Amy's Place Cakes & Gifts for tea and amazing cake with a view!

Unfortunately I will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday 25th Aug) as I need to take my coffee machine for a repair. 😬
I hope to be open again on Wednesday from 10 till 3 as usual and, as its the last week of the month, I will be open on Friday from 12 till 2 for bacon rolls, cookies, hot & cold drinks.

Its the Made On Raasay Craft Fair today from 11 till 3 at Raasay Community Hall. The makers from the Sound of Raasay will be there along with other talented folk from the island.

I'm open as usual till 3pm and, as its the last week of the month, I'll be open on Friday (31st July) from 12 until 2 serving bacon rolls, cookies, hot & cold drinks.
