A lovely, recently refurbished cafe sat by the River Nidd with views of Knaresborough's famous Viaduct. Focusing on good quality local ingredients where possible there's something for everyone. Indoor and Outdoor seating available in anticipation of all the weather can send our way and Dog Friendly.

Introducing Fred!

Younger brother of our lovely Ruby, Freddy is one of our kitchen crew (occasionally moonlights out by the coffee machine too).

A big Rugby guy, Fred’s South African heritage and Australian childhood means he loves a good Braai (a BBQ to us Brits).

Calm under pressure, Fred brings solid team vibes and a great playlist to every kitchen shift. WHAM O’CLOCK on a Saturday lunch shift when we need to switch to the next gear is always a highlight.

Following news from the Food Standards Agency of a recent outbreak of Salmonella from what is believed to be imported egg, we’d like to reassure our customers that our eggs are locally sourced & free range.

It is advised that vulnerable groups including pregnant people, under 5s, older customers & those with medical conditions should eat well cooked eggs.

For the majority of our customers dishes such as soft poached & fried eggs should be absolutely fine.

As always we are happy to meet dietary requirements so please just ask when ordering.
