Birthday Brookie (GF/DF/VGN) is in the cake cabinet this week!

I had some brownie mix and cookie dough leftover after this week's shed bakes, so whipped this up!

If you're feeling really naughty, I would thoroughly recommend warming it up and having it with a helping of squirty cream! If you're going to have a treat, you might as well do it properly!

I found some Cookies & Cream spread in Aldi last week and just had to try it!

Unfortunately, it was neither gluten-free or vegan so I struggled to think of what to do with it!

However, I decided to test out a new blondie recipe and use the spread....next step will be making the recipe GF and Vegan friendly!

Salted Caramel Apple Cake (GF/DF/VGN)

It was quietly implied by one of my staff members that I "don't do fancy cakes" 🤣 and for the most part this totally true (they meant it in a nice way - I'm just not a fancy cake person and they know that).

However, I feel like a silent, cake shaped gauntlet has been thrown, so I accept your challenge, sir! I will aim to make more fancy looking cakes in future 😋
