Hello all,
We are really looking forward to welcoming you to Knaresborough this Saturday.
🤩 We hope you'll take the time to appreciate our beautiful town and spend some of your hard-earned cash in our local businesses. We have so much going on and so many fantastic independent businesses that help make Knaresborough the place it is.

🛍️ Bed Race Day does mean some shops will close for all or part of the day, and we really appreciate what that means for small businesses.
So we're asking you to say thank you to them for us by:
☕ Spending your money in one of our fabulous cafés on some great coffee, tea and really tasty food.
🥪 Enjoying sandwiches, salads, fish and chips, burgers and all the other delicious things our town has to offer.
🍻Grabbing a pint or a drink in one of our lovely (and occasionally prize-winning) pubs.

We are very excited to announce our much loved Party in the Castle line up. Unfortunately Glastonbury is not on this year so with lots of help from the team at FML we are very happy to say we are having live DJ’s and an all local team to put on our free community event.
Supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and funded by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority as part of the Vibrant and Sustainable High Streets Fund, organised by Knaresborough Chamber thank you Knaresborough Community Hub.

After much speculation, His Majesty The King arrived at Knaresborough Castle today - and what an exciting moment it was for our town!🏰

The Castle grounds were buzzing with excitement as people gathered to welcome him, many hoping for the chance to say hello. Residents were absolutely thrilled that His Majesty chose to visit our beloved Castle, and with the sun shining, the atmosphere felt vibrant and full of pride.

A truly memorable day for Knaresborough, and one we’ll be talking about for a long time 💫

Summer Concerts at Knaresborough Castle

Starting on 24 May and running until 30th August, enjoy live music on Sunday afternoons from 2pm at Knaresborough Castle.

Why not spend a lovely afternoon surrounded by beautiful scenery and delightful tunes?
The concerts are free to attend, though donations are welcome to support the bands.

☀️ What a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend it’s been so far! The sunshine has been shining, the outdoor tables have been full, and it’s been lovely to see everyone enjoying the beautiful weather with us at The Lavender Rooms. 🌸

We’re back open again tomorrow for Bank Holiday Monday, so if you’re out and about, come and join us for more sunshine, good food, coffee, cake and alfresco dining. 🫖🍰
