We want to address something serious that has been happening far too often.
Recently, members of our staff have been subjected to unacceptable behaviour from groups of young people, including verbal abuse, having objects thrown at them, and even being spat on. This is not only disrespectful, but completely unacceptable.
Our team come to work to do their jobs and provide a service to the community. They deserve to feel safe and respected while doing so. No one should have to tolerate this kind of treatment.
We are asking parents and guardians to please speak to your children about their behaviour and the impact it has on others. This is not “just messing around” — it is harassment.
We are also working closely with local authorities to address this issue, and incidents will continue to be reported.
We appreciate the support from the vast majority of our customers who treat our staff with kindness and respect. Let’s work together to make this a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
