A first birthday cake…. I’ll say it again these are my absolute favourite! When someone trusts you with such a milestone birthday you know you have to make it good! 🥰😍

This was an under the sea theme with animals the birthday boy would like! I loved the pops of colour with the baby blue base! 👌

A two tier fondant cake with all the animals handmade and edible so the birthday boy could get stuck in! Swipe to see set up… (so beautiful!) and another of this cake out in the wild! Thanks again for trusting me and sharing some snaps! Another two tier beauty to add to the collection 😍🎂

As promised a little update from me! Anybody who has enquired this week shall get a reply at some point tomorrow.

2027 enquires are being taken and all bookings will be confirmed asap if not tomorrow.

I am fully booked and have squeezed the life from Sept so all wiggle room is gone! Sorry! Next few weeks are some of my busiest yet! Thank you! 🙌🏻

OCTOBER - fully booked (any cancellations will be advertised on socials

NOVEMBER - availability w/c 2nd Nov and 23rd Nov only.

DECEMBER - space 1st - 11th Dec only (limited)

This availability is for big cakes only. Cupcakes can still be requested at shorter notice but please book in sooner if you require mini fondant toppers / lots of handmade toppers.

Seasonal cakes like Halloween / Christmas have not been advertised or booked yet and will be available for booking soon with all the usual offerings and possibly some newbies if I have time! ☺️🎂🧁

Thanks so much as always for keeping me busy, it’s amazing to be able to look ahead and see a full cake line up for months to come!

As always I’ll be in recovery for the first few weeks in Jan 2027 but diary is open and available for booking for the rest of the year!

A cake that went out last week! Colour scheme to match the balloons for the celebration and I was sent some adorable photos of their pet Sully who took centre stage on this cake! I love recreating your much loved pets in edible form! Filled with Rice Krispie treats and covered in fondant fur details. Sully looks ready to party! Keeping the cake simple but with little details for a beautiful finish!

So glad to hear the cake went down well!

Handmade sprinkles rolled and cut then individually placed on this cake to add even more pops of colour.

A bespoke cake for a milestone birthday!

So I can’t quite believe I am here. Last week was the first week I could work daytime hours. My babies are no longer babies and since 2020 cakes by Zhara has been a job working in the evenings / early hours of the morning. Juggling night feeds, naps and caking. During the day Caelan quite often came to the shops for supplies and sat on my knee while doing admin. Fast forward and I did all the same with Grace 2023 onwards! They both have been with me for cake deliveries and stock trips to! Swipe for a trip down memory lane! 🥰

As much as the struggle was real I got to be with my kids full time and see every little milestone. I wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Looking back I’m so proud of what we managed to achieve. Me and my babies 💕🥰 (not forgetting Callum!)

Fast forward, I’m here. Still?! How amazing is this?! Every school run and nursery run. I am able to be there for my kids when they need me! Callum took me out for a coffee on my official “first day” ZENNOR 👌😘

Another chapter has started and will take me a little time to find my feet, I’m not going to lie I felt a little lost last week! I made a few mistakes 😅

I have noticed an upward trend in buttercream meadows… flower details sometimes with a mix of fondant but hand piped to suit your occasion both in muted pastel tones and bright fun colours. Hopefully I’ll get more of these…. So beautifully simple yet detail at every turn 💕🎂
