Henry's Smokehouse

Is this as American as a car can be on the cobbles out front of our smokehouse?

If there’s more out there - or if you have your own - show Us!! Roll up! 👀❤️🔥

Kentucky on the deck!

Kentucky on the board this week.

Buffalo Trace. Woodford. Eagle Rare 10… Never Say Die — the one that links the room Kentucky born (US beginnings) 🇺🇸& English raised🇬🇧

Then the one that doesn’t need an introduction. Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel. No filter. Just the heat of that metal rickhouse poured straight into the bottle - a really special sip.

Come for the smoke. Stay longer for the pour. That’s the whole point.

My gosh these platters have really changed the game here at Henry’s Smokehouse…

Thanks to Procter’s of Chipping supplying the cheesy goodness we stuff into our new extra strong jalapeño & cheese - hand made beef sausages… yeah built with our smoked brisket trim because we wanted to 💪

Last time we were in the States on one of our pilgrimages, Texas Roadhouse put a basket of these on the table.
Warm. Sweet. A little dangerous. Freshly baked rolls with whipped cinnamon butter… This is our tribute ❤️

Now baking was never our thing. Fire is. Smoke is. The long cook. Not dough. Not proving, but we wanted to keep it real. No bought-in rolls. No pretending we always knew how. Just a kitchen getting better, night after night, because the table asked for it and now it’s becoming something travellers landing here never knew they needed 😊

Saturday we sent out 280. One for every cover - a number we just weren’t expecting & we’re blessed by the people constantly showing up. The feedback has been unbelievable and we’re thinking we’re nearly there!
They only taste right if they’re still warm when they hit the table. Still soft - That’s the point. So volume and quality has been the challenge.

If you were here Saturday, thank you. Genuinely. From deep in our hearts we’re loving how loved Henry’s is becoming… If you weren’t, come find them - another trial for an hour today (Sunday) then launching all weekend next week.

No gimmicks - these are going to be the perfect beginning of the perfect true bbq experience every weekend at Henry’s. Another reason to hit the road and head to the Fylde Coast. Each one welcoming you to our table and for those colder nights each one feeling a little more like you’re home.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday next week people.
Drop by - the fires lit 🔥

Smoked brisket. Worth the wait. Worth the miles. Right?

You could leave Land’s End, tear up to the Highlands and still make it home to the Fylde Coast… and this would still be ticking over low and slow on the old offsets.

How far would you travel for some low & slow?

No shortcuts. Just fire, time and a proper slice.
