Brough Chippy

We are up for sale!!

Due to our lease coming to an end in a few months, we have decided to put the business up to sell.
The building is leasehold, with no ingoing costs, but the business and all equipment is for sale directly from us. We are working closely with the landlords to make a smooth transition for the next owners. There is everything here so that the new owners can move straight in and begin trading immediately 🙂

Prime fast food space available

Brough Chippy tenancy is shortly due for renewal and the space will be available for rental to new tenants from 1st February 2027 and possibly earlier should the new tenant wish.
Highly visible, in a prominent position as people enter the village on the A685 from Kirkby Stephen, and just off the A66, the business offers real potential. Brough Chippy has been a destination chip shop, drawing customers from far and wide. We are initially seeking interest to continue the business as a going concern. However, the premises would be equally suited to operating as an outlet for other types of fast food.
Rental payable monthly on the first of each month in twelve equal parts is currently £4176 p.a. (set to increase by 10%) plus a proportion of the annual insurances. A five year lease is preferred.
