Wow… what a fab tasting tonight.
One producer, one grape variety, one region; yet loads of dimensions and angles.
The narrowest tasting we’ve ever delivered, but thanks to the support of the team at Soalheiro it was highly informative and enjoyed.
It’s definitely the nerdiest we’ve ever got!

This weekend is your last chance to secure tickets to our rather special tasting on Tuesday.
A not to be repeated tasting featuring rare and limited edition Alvarinho wines from Soalheiro.

15 year old champagne method.
Several library vintages including 2012, hailed as the “perfect” harvest.
Limited Edition late bottled L15.
And the award winning Primera Vinhas, a wine made from the fruit hand picked from the families first plot of vines that were planted in 1974.

£40 per head for over half a dozen wines and nibbles.

Peroni Red now available at Avanti!

Did you know that the original Peroni beer has been brewed in Italy since 1846; and they haven’t changed the recipe or brewed it outside Italy during its 180 year history.
Nastro Azzurro, the beer we automatically think of as Peroni, was actually only launched in 1963. This “blue ribbon” version contains Nastrano corn in its recipe and is slightly higher abv than the original Peroni.
Luckily for you, Avanti now serve both.

Avanti’s walled garden has plenty of shaded spots, so you can chill with a glass of your favourite wine or beer; or enjoy some of our tasty small plates.
No AI jiggery pokery at work here, just an honest picture of our lovely garden. AI looks like it may be the death of social media, but we promise to keep it real!
