The final Number Nine Sunday roasts ❤️

We are fully booked for our last day of service and we’d like to thank everyone who’s been in over the last few weeks for your continued support and kind words! We appreciate everything!

We have a very busy day ahead so if we don’t get chance to pop out or say hello then we will be having drinks at Avanti from 4pm on Saturday 16th to see everyone then

A gentle reminder we are closing early and calling last orders early so the team can get cleaned down and have a private drink at the end of shift together for one last time

We’ve been completely blown away by all your messages of support and kind words since announcing our closure last week 🩷

We’re truly very grateful for all your messages and everyone that’s been in for food, drinks or just a hug the last few days. We’re sorry if there is anyone we haven’t responded to, it’s been quite overwhelming. Again, we thank everyone for their support and it will be lovely to see you all over the next few weeks

Number Nine as a business and the building will be available to lease, with potential to purchase, over the coming weeks. There is also four bedroom accommodation above, perfect for live in positions. This can be left fully furnished and ready to go as well

If anyone is interested in discussing the opportunity, please feel free to message us privately or pop in and we’ll be happy to share further details.

Don’t forget we’re still here until Monday 4th May so you’ve got time for roasts, happy hours and cocktails

It’s with heavy hearts that we will be closing Number Nine on May 4th 2026. This hasn’t been an easy decision to make and it’s taken some time but we’re comfortable it’s the right one

Our lease ends in September this year but with the downturn in footfall and current Labour government doing everything they can to see small businesses like ours close everyday in the UK, we wanted to close the doors on our terms, on a high. It’s very rare in our industry that we’re fortunate enough to be in a position to close this way and we’re very grateful for that

To all of our staff past and present, thank you for everything you’ve added to the Number Nine journey and our little restaurant. To our current team, you’re all amazing! We’ve built a little family that’s quirky, funny, dedicated and most of all bloody brilliant. Ben, Beth, Charlotte, Isla, Evie, Dan, Rihanna, Alex and Joe. Thank you, we love you all and we’ll continue to support you as you have us ❤️

Number Nine as a business and the building will be coming up for lease with the potential to buy over the next few weeks. A sign will be going up but we will still be trading until May 4th so please continue to support us in this time (more to come on this)

Kirkby Lonsdale, it’s been a blast. We’ll miss all of our lovely regulars and we want to thank every single one of you that’s walked through our doors and supported us. For now we’re going to enjoy our last few weeks and rest assured our standards and usual Number Nine love will be there until the end. More to come over the next few weeks, but for now thank you for everything ❤️
