What an evening! 💚 Our Cook & Connect was a full house, filled with lovely people, laughter, delicious food and lots of hummus making. We arrived as strangers and left with new connections, and none of us wanted to go home!
A big thank you to Emma from Digital Mother for inspiring us with her talk on how to introduce ourselves and our businesses.

Today I met 4 brilliant young adults through the Jobcentre and invited all 4 back for trial shifts. 💚

Sometimes people just need someone to give them a chance.

If you’re a business owner and you can open a door for someone, get in touch with your local Jobcentre.

A small opportunity can make a big difference.

I have a confession… I don’t usually like honey cake. 🙈🍯
And the main reason? Raisins.
I really, really don’t like raisins. In anything. 😂
But this year I decided to give honey cake another go, my way. No raisins, and I wanted it to be much softer, moist and properly delicious.
I’m very happy to report… it worked. 😍
Our soft, moist honey cake is now available at The Cheeky Pea. So if you’re coming to Kingston for your falafel fix, just know there’s a lovely slice of honey cake waiting alongside it too. 🍰💛
