I’M NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everybody that came down to see us today! It honestly meant so much and it was great to see so many familiar faces again. I’m sorry it was so chaotic to begin with. I was entirely unprepared for so many people so quickly. I had all plans to set up a nice little shop area while people trickled through but you guys had different plans. I’m also sorry I didn’t get more of a chance to chat with so many of you but maybe you all shouldn’t turn up at the same time 😂
Hopefully I’ll get a chance to catch up with you all at or one of our future pop ups!

🚨 BIG BOARD GAME SALE 🚨

Thank you all so much for the kind words since our announcement that we will be closing. It’s been incredibly heart warming to read about the good times you all had in our little nerdy cafe.
We now have the unenviable task of clearing the cafe, so make life easier for us by buying our stock so we have less to move :)
We will have big discounts on all our remaining retail games and we will be selling a large selection of our library games
You could even take one of our tables or set of shelves if you really wanted
Even if you don’t want to buy anything feel free to come and say bye to us

You may have noticed our doors haven’t been open for a few weeks now and we’re sad to say the Boardroom is now closed.

Unfortunately we never quite pulled the business back from the effects of lockdown and combined with a big old energy bill we just can’t sustain keeping the bar open.

Things don’t always have to last forever to be a success and we’re proud of the 6 years we’ve had. We want to thank everyone whose walked through our door spent an afternoon playing games and chatted to us, we’ve made a lot of friends along the way and the board game community is truly great.

A small selection of our games will be journeying over to our sister bar Brew in town, if you can continue your support over there, and we also have plans to bring The Boardroom concept to some of the best bars in the area in pop up form.

We’re still working on it but it looks like we might be closed all weekend 🙁
