As a pub weโre saddened to hear the passing of Pete Smith. Pete was landlord at The Ravenser for the majority of the early 2000s and was a much loved character to this pub and customers alike. Often gracing people with his karaoke classics, he always had this pub thriving.
From a personal perspective, I poured my first pint in this pub way back in 2004 and, thanks to Pete, developed a lifelong love for this place - something I will be eternally grateful for. Our thoughts are with Peteโs family at this very sad time, weโll be raising a glass for him
