Back open tomorrow Monday 18th May.
Our eldest daughter Christina is out of hospital but still a little unsteady on her feet, so still needs one of us to be there helping out, this is why our hours are a little shorter than normal.
It will be good to see you all again though, and thank you for your patience.

Shop Update
First of all, a massive thank you for all the kind words. Here’s a little update.
The good news is that Christina is feeling a lot better! However, the doctors want to run more tests to get to the bottom of what happened, so she’ll be staying in hospital for at least another day, possibly two.
Naturally, this means the "Grandparent Creche & Menagerie" remains in full swing. We’re currently juggling the grandkids, two cats, and a very energetic puppy—all while running on about two hours of sleep. So If we look a bit rough when you next see us, now you know why.

​Tuesday 12th May: Closed.
​Wednesday 13th May: Likely closed (we’ll keep you posted!).

​A Silver Lining
​On a brighter note, our cat Peanut seems to have made a miraculous recovery. He’s currently bounding around like the little idiot he was before his accident, blissfully unaware of the stress he caused.
We’re crossing our fingers for a bit more shut-eye tonight and hoping to be back with you all very soon. We could certainly do with the rest!

Change of Plans: We’re Closed Today
Life has a funny way of throwing a spanner in the works, doesn't it? We’re so sorry to announce that the shop will be closed today, Monday 11th May.
Family always comes first, and we’ve had a bit of a whirlwind 24 hours. Our daughter was taken ill and required an overnight stay in hospital. Julie has been on shift at the bedside, while I’ve been on "Grandparent & Pet Duty."
After a 2:30 am baton-pass, Julie is now holding the fort with the grandkids, and I’m heading home to look after our poorly cat, who as you know is on cage rest due to his little drama a few weeks ago.
The Details
Status: Closed today (Monday 11th May).
Reopening: We hope to be back to our usual hours tomorrow.
Online Shop: Our website is always open if you need a fix of fair trade goodness from your sofa!
We truly appreciate your understanding and support.

Taking a Week Off (from the Shop, not the Sofa) 🛋️☕
​Just a heads-up that we are pressing the "pause" button for a few days. We’ll be closed from Tuesday 28th April, returning on Tuesday 5th May after the Bank Holiday.
​We aren't jetting off anywhere fancy—mostly because the thought of a suitcase makes us break out in hives—but we are taking a break from the daily grind to recharge.
​The Details:
​Trinity Market Shops: Both Near & Fair and KarmaCorner are closed for the week.
​Online Shopping: Our website nearandfair.co.uk is still live 24/7. Feel free to browse while we’re busy doing... well, hopefully nothing.
​Deliveries: Any orders placed this week will be dispatched with gusto once we’re back on the 5th.
​We’ve promised the coffee machine some "alone time" and the gifts need a week without us hovering over them. We’ll be back and ready to see you all on Tuesday the 5th!
​Thanks for supporting our fair trade mission. Now, if you need us, we’ll be busy ignoring our alarms.
