We are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of yoga, stretching, and body balance classes with an amazing instructor from Ukraine, Olena Yershova. Get ready to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate your body, mind, and soul through asanas and stretches to improve your flexibility, strength, and overall well-being.
Olena is a passionate yoga, Pilates, and meditation instructor. She has completed training in the International Education Centre on specialty YOGA & PILATES TRAINER (course content 1000 hours). Since then, Olena has taught Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, and Stretching at several studios in Ukraine and the UK, along with private lessons.
Olena also has certificates in Flexi Bar, Callanetics, Joint Gymnastics, Stretching, and Pole dancing.
Now Olena is a yoga, Pilates, and meditation instructor at David Lloyd Clubs (Hull) and Health Hub (Driffield). She develops a series of bespoke yoga, and Pilates classes that match clients’ needs, as well as fosters an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that supports clients with a range of abilities and instructs students on proper pranayama (breathing) techniques and their benefits. She is vigilant about student safety and monitors for signs of strain and discomfort to avoid injury.
Olena was drawn to sport from a young age, she was a professional fencer (epee and foil), a competitive Poledancer, winner of several Championships. Olena is also a certified Theta healer practitioner. Yoga, stretching, and meditation continue to perpetuate Olena forward and stimulate her passion for the practice, as she believes that yoga is the true union of the body and soul, the discipline of the body that allows for the mind to activate, expand, achieve enlightenment and freedom, as well as relaxation. Her style is focused and serious, but also loving and light.
Olena is currently undertaking her training as Gym Instructor. Olena is a mom of two boys, both are competitive gymnasts.
