A massive shoutout to our amazing Kate and Jane, and of course, not forgetting our beautiful Angie! ❤️

These three work their socks off behind the scenes at The Railway Inn, making sure everything is spotless, welcoming and looking its very best for all our lovely guests.
From our bedrooms to the pub and everything in between, there’s always something that needs doing, and these ladies are always there to get the job done!

We honestly couldn’t do it without you all. Your hard work, dedication and everything you do for us never go unnoticed, and we’re so lucky to have you as part of our Railway family. ❤️

📣 Did you know we have a fantastic farm shop just 2 miles down the road from us at Whitedale and with their two New Jersey Cows 🐮 they can supply fresh raw milk 🥛 💦 every day…..cannot get fresher then that 🙌🏻

From all of us at The Railway Inn, we couldn’t be prouder of the team at the Rose & Crown! ❤️

After a fantastic summer, John will be taking on the role of Operations Manager across the company, while still spending a couple of days a week at the Rose & Crown.

A massive congratulations to Alex on becoming General Manager! 🥂

Alex and John have both been there since day one, and the Rose & Crown wouldn’t be where it is today without them! We couldn’t be prouder of how far you’ve both come. Keep doing what you’re doing, we all love you! ❤️

After a fantastic summer, we wanted to share a very special team update from The Rose & Crown. ❤️

As the business continues to grow, John will be taking on the role of Operations Manager while continuing to be based at The Rose & Crown a couple of days each week. We’re also absolutely delighted to announce that Alex has accepted the role of General Manager.

Alex has been with us from day one at The Rose & Crown and, truthfully, the business simply wouldn’t be where it is today without him.

He has been there through the busy days, the challenging moments, the late nights and all the brilliant times in between. He knows the pub inside out, cares deeply about our team and customers, and has always treated the business as though it were his own.

Watching The Rose & Crown grow into what it is today has been an incredible journey, and Alex has played a huge part in every stage of it. His hard work, loyalty and commitment have never gone unnoticed, and we genuinely couldn’t think of anyone better to take on the role of General Manager.

We’re incredibly proud of him and so excited to see him take this next step.

Just like that, it’s Cam’s last shift with us after 5 amazing years. 🥹❤️

He started with us as a pot washer and over the years has grown so much, to the point where there’s not much in the business he can’t turn his hand to!

But Cam hasn’t just been a member of staff — he’s become part of our family. He’s been there through everything, helped look after the kids, made us laugh and has always been someone we can rely on.

Now he’s off to university to follow his dream of becoming a doctor, and we genuinely couldn’t be prouder of him. 🩺🎓

Cam, thank you for everything you’ve done for us over the last 5 years. We’re going to miss you more than you know, but we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.

Go smash it, future Dr Cam! ❤️🥂
