💜Gymnastics and Trampolining Holiday Camps for ages 5+ years, with 2 hour half day or 5 hour full day options.

💜Fab 4’s & 5’s Holiday Camp Sessions - 1 hour independent sessions for 4 and 5 year olds only!

💜Pay and Play Holiday Camp Sessions - 1 hour exploration play sessions for preschool aged children to use the equipment. Unstructured play, parent/carer led, with coaches on hand to demonstrate how to use the equipment correctly.

It's a very busy day in Hull city centre this Saturday! 25th July is both Pride in Hull and Medieval Day at Hull Minster.

Prospect Shopping Centre have their first free family event of the summer taking place for Pride - Rainbow Glitter Tattoos and Rainbow making Arts & Crafts. Just drop in between 11am and 3pm. They have lots of other free events coming up too!
The main Pride events take place around Zebedee's Yard.

The Hull Minster Medieval Day is a celebration of Hull's Medieval past, with live combat displays, period actors, stalls and workshops to take part in. A free family day out! See the itinerary in the pics for more details on what's on and when. It was a great event last year and it looks bigger and better for this year.

Last night I took my tween with me to watch Lord of the Dance at Hull Theatres Hull New Theatre.
This is something I've always wanted to see and we had a really lovely evening together watching it.
The dancers are ridiculously talented! There was also some great singing, fiddle playing and Irish music.

I'd say its best for older children, late primary to teens, who love dancing, or good to see with a friend. My dance-obsessed 12 year old really enjoyed the show.
It's our second visit to Hull New Theatre this week! My daughter was dancing herself in the Stars of Tomorrow show there on Monday, so it was great for her to watch the professional dancers last night. We're very lucky to have such varied performances to watch on that stage!

We saw the 7.45pm show and it was finished by 9.40pm, with an interval.
Catch it in Hull until 25th July, with shows at 7.45pm and a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.

FREE, fun activity this summer at Fruit Market Hull !
The Craft Trail is running along Humber Street - now to 6th September, Wednesday to Sunday each week, 11am-3pm (excluding 1st, 15th and 22nd August).

Start at Humber Street Gallery to collect a trail sheet, follow the trail collecting crafty bits as you go in some of the lovely businesses along the street, return to the gallery to create your masterpiece!
We had a lovely morning out on the marina doing the trail, having a general mooch in the shops and exploring the lovely newly opened section of the marina where there is a little kids trim trail and lots of seating to watch the boats from.

Mumbler has been to Adventure Play Town! The lovely role play centre and cafe at K3 on Clough Road Hull.
Here's how we got on with a 1 and 3 year old....

It’s a lovely open and clean space with lot’s of different shops and themes to explore. We particularly enjoyed the woodland room and had a little tea party with our forest friends. Each space ignites the imagination and really I enjoyed watching my 3 year old come up with different stories and scenarios.
The detail in each space is amazing. Playing here was an absolute joy, from ride on vehicles, a stage to perform on, dressing up, running a café or exploring the fire engine!

Babies are really well provided for; there are playmats and suitable toys in the middle of the room where they can relax and enjoy their time too.
What I loved most was visiting somewhere that both my baby and 3 year old could enjoy together, and where I felt safe with both of them, so if you have a baby with an older sibling it’s the perfect place to all visit.

The café has plenty of treats to enjoy and, most importantly, the coffee is fabulous! You can see the whole play space from the café as well, so children are never out of sight. There's plenty of free parking outside and they also have air con so it's a great place to escape the summer heat!

As well as being open for regular play sessions all summer, they also have lots of extra themed sessions taking place from meet and greats to parties and animal encounters. Plus there's 20% off July regular sessions. We love a visit to Hull Ice Arena and it's on our summer to do list.
As well as regular family sessions they also have 3 special Character Skate events coming up, the first is this weekend -

💜K-Pop Demon Hunters Skate – 8th August.
💜Pirates & Fairies Skate – 22nd August.

All 10.30am-12noon. Each event includes: Live on-ice performances, character appearances, skate hire included.

The Stars of Tomorrow!!! 🤩
Last night lots of local dance schools and singers performed on the stage at Hull Theatres Hull New Theatre.
What a fantastic opportunity for so many local children to be on such an amazing stage 😍👏
There's another show tonight with more dance schools too.

Everyone dancing was fantastic, there were also some incredible singers too. We had a great night watching and a very memorable day for my daughter.
Thanks Fleur Elizabeth Academy of Dance for taking my little cheetah.
Thanks Stars of Tomorrow for bringing this to Hull.

Free events just for teens this July!

💜Zebfest, part of the Healthy Holidays Hull summer programme, is back again at Zebedee's Yard, Hull city Centre, on Wednesday 22nd July, 2.30-6.20pm. A free, festival-style event ages 11 to 16 years with live entertainment, pizza making and more.

💜The very first Hessle Youth Day is taking place on Thursday 30th July, 12pm to 4pm at Hessle Sporting Club and King George V Playing Fields (the recca). A free event for ages 11–18 years, with activities, taster sessions, live entertainment, and lots of opportunities to get involved.
