In hospitality, we see every side of human behaviour — and too often, we end up facing the negative end of it. But every so often, someone comes along who reminds us that there are still people who represent the absolute best of humanity.
Sue is one of those people.
She has been a loyal regular with us for years, always arriving with a smile, always patient, always kind, always respectful. The way she treats my staff genuinely lifts the whole team. When Sue walks through the door, the atmosphere changes — she makes the day better without even trying.
And knowing her background makes it even clearer why.
Sue dedicated 35 years of her life to Dove House as a nurse — That kind of service deserves real respect. If she is anything like she is with us, it’s no surprise she was valued there for so long.
