I think I’ve found my new favourite thing on the Gingers menu… 👀

EGGS BENNY CROISSANT 🤤

An all-butter croissant, piled with our home-cooked pulled ham, poached eggs and hollandaise.

Crispy, buttery, runny, saucy… basically everything you want on one plate. 😂

And yes, it tastes every bit as good as it looks.

Which feels suspiciously well planned for a hot day at Ginger’s. 😂🥂

Lauren’s a left-hander, so naturally she’ll be celebrating her special day… and I may have to support her with the Prosecco side of things. It’s only fair. 🤷‍♀️

Although with today’s temperatures, we promise there’ll be plenty of water involved too! 💦☀️

When it’s your day off… but you still travel from West Hull to East Hull for breakfast. 😂🤍

Lauren and Olly popped into Ginger’s this morning, and I asked her why she’d come all the way over here when there are plenty of places closer to home.

Her answer?

“Because I know the quality I’m going to get.”

And that pretty much sums up what we’ve always wanted Ginger’s to be.

We’re not about style over substance.

We believe a great breakfast starts with really good quality produce, cooked properly and served exactly as it should be.

No fancy tricks. No trying to make something look better than it tastes.

Just proper food, good portions and ingredients we’re proud to put on your plate.

Because you can make a breakfast look Instagram-worthy…

…but if the bacon, sausages and everything underneath it aren’t good quality, what’s the point? 😉

The best taste testers? ❤️

My grandsons have been spending some of the school holidays at Ginger’s, quietly playing whilst Lauren is in the kitchen and their daddy is at work … and they are making sure they sample our pancakes just once more!! . 🥞🍓

It got us thinking…

Our regular pancakes are quite a generous portion for little tummies, so we’ve added a children’s portion that’s just the right size.
