Today is the one day of the year where it’s perfectly acceptable to remind everyone that Yorkshire is, in fact, God’s Own Country! 😏

A few Yorkshire facts for you…

Well… it wasn’t the ending we all dreamed of. 💔⚽

Sixty years without bringing the World Cup home… but what a ride it has been!

We just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to every single customer, member of staff, friend and family member who joined us throughout the tournament. ❤️

From the singing that probably woke the neighbours 🎶, to the nervous pacing before kick-off 😬, the celebrations 🍻, the tears 😢 and the absolutely brilliant atmosphere… you’ve once again shown why the AP community is second to none.

A special shout-out has to go to Sam and his amazing team behind the bar. 🍺👏

They’ve poured what felt like an Olympic swimming pool of pints, kept the food flying out of the kitchen, smiled through the madness and somehow managed to keep everyone fed, watered and happy. Absolute legends!

The trophy might not be coming home this time… but the memories definitely will.

Now then… only 4 years until the next World Cup! 👀😂

Until then, we’ll just have to make do with plenty of cold pints, great laughs and creating more unforgettable memories together.
