Did anyone catch us on Kofi Smiles this week? They were visiting hot workplaces and came to see us as we’re “hot in the ratings too”! Filming is a bit nerve wracking so we’ve only just played it back!

What a perfect day for fish and chips in the sunshine. We’re open all day from 11am till 7pm 🎣🍟☀️

This morning Jim is back where he belongs behind the fryer! It still hasn’t quite sunk in that our little chippy won BEST FISH AND CHIP SHOP IN YORKSHIRE AND THE HUMBER!
In a tough category full of big names we went with no expectations and are so proud to have come away with the trophy!

We also came “Highly Recommended” in our second category of ‘Best Fish and Chips in Yorkshire and the Humber’ again in a tough category full of great Fish & Chip shops.

What an amazing achievement for Jim and our fantastic team. So we’d like to say a massive Thank You and show our appreciation to our hardworking staff who do us proud, going above and beyond, and working their hardest to deliver the best we can for our loyal customers.

And a great big Thank You to all our customers for your continued support over the years. You really make our local chippy what it is! And we appreciate you all.

Always a pleasure to deliver to Saltshouse Haven ☺️ We don’t offer delivery as standard but do deliver for some customers when we can, i.e care homes/schools/churches depending on the size of the order, staff availability etc. And we are able to cater large orders for collection too so if this is something you are considering for your organisation give us a call to see if we can help ❤️ 🐟&🍟
