After our sold out Heretics wine event we are going again 🔥🤟🏻🍾🍷🍴🎵

We welcome the fabulous Wanderlust Wine UK to our restaurant with 5 snacks and 5 wines from the Mediterranean. We are featuring wines off the beaten track and pairing them with some delicious bites and snacks introduced by Ben from Wanderlust who will share his passion for great wine and growers and his experience from years in the hospitality industry.

This will be a pre-paid featured event with limited availability.

The price for this event will be £75 per person and will include all wine and of course food 😋

WE’RE IN THE MICHELIN GUIDE! ❤️

Now the news has finally sunk in and we’ve recovered from the celebrating… 🥂

We are absolutely delighted to share the incredible news that Verse has officially been selected for The MICHELIN Guide 2026.

When we opened the doors to Verse just six months ago, we could never have imagined writing those words quite so soon.

We started Verse with a simple idea: to serve beautiful food and great drinks, play brilliant music and offer genuinely warm hospitality. We wanted to create somewhere that brings people together to enjoy a great night out with friends and family.

So for Michelin to recognise what we’re doing means more than we can really put into words.

None of this happens without our amazing team. Every single one of them works incredibly hard, with passion and dedication and always with a smile on their face. We are so proud of you all. ❤️

We also need to thank our friends and family who helped us get the doors open in the first place. From painting walls and building the bar to hanging pictures and lights , we appreciate every bit of it.

A huge thank you too to all of our brilliant suppliers, many of them local to the South West, who deliver the very best ingredients to us week after week.

And last, but by absolutely no means least, thank you to every single person who has walked through our doors since we opened.

Thank you for booking a table, recommending us, leaving reviews, sharing our posts, coming back again and again, and supporting an independent restaurant trying to do something a little different here in Kingsbridge.

We really couldn’t have done this without you.

If you love great drinks, good food, brilliant hospitality and working somewhere with a little personality, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, has a genuine interest in cocktails, wine and spirits, and enjoys being part of a small, friendly team.

• Part-time / evening / weekend hours
• Wednesday–Saturday evenings
• Experience preferred
• Competitive rate of pay plus service charge
• Staff food & drinks
• A relaxed, professional working environment
